50th Anniversary of the assassination of Rev. Martin Luther king Jr.

Yesterday marked the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. I totally became overwhelmed with appreciation and admiration of his legacy.

Today I could only think about the measure of FAITH that GOD had to give him. Romans 12:3. We often reflect on the dream, but today I was led to focus on his individual faith in GOD and Jesus Christ.

The measure of faith given unto him had to be strong enough to overcome facing death, not just dying but being murdered. To face countless attempts and numerous intimidation tactics.

Did he wrestle with stopping or slowing down? Yes! This very thing was mentioned last night. He was a young man with a beautiful wife and kids. Surely their protection and needs would often weigh on his emotions.

The measure of faith given him was exact for his calling.

Giving us FAITH that our measurement is exact for our calling in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 12:2

Our Strength is Christ Philippians 4:13
