The Bigger Picture

This 26th day of September 2018, was filled with split opinions concerning the conviction and sentencing of 81 year old, Mr. Bill Cosby.

On this day, I heard it all from blaming the victims, to a conspiracy to ruin a powerful black man. However, one overriding phrase kept ringing out in the midst of all the debates there's a “Bigger Picture”.

The phrase "Bigger Picture” resonated in my spirit. YES!!! GOD IS AWESOME and HIS PICTURE IS ALWAYS BIGGER than ours.

Mr. Cosby has a SOUL. A soul, GOD is trying to save, like us all.

Each victims SOUL, was broken and damaged and in need of repairing and strengthening from the very seconds following their assaults.

Although many women came forward against him, only one case was brought to trial.

This one case brought about his conviction and sentencing of 3 to 10 years, in spite of his age, money, fame and power.

His conviction strengthens the souls of many abused WOMEN.

We must be reminded, his victims were handed a life sentence of brokenness; like so many victims of sexual, mental, verbal and financial abuse are forced to carry.

While the years of their suffering cannot be erased, GOD provided them all a sense of closure and redemption.

Meanwhile, extending to Mr. Cosby the opportunity of repentance for a contrite spirit, before his eternal soul conviction.

Matthew 16:26 (KJV) 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

My sincere prayers and compassion is for all directly and indirectly involved.

May we all find LOVE, GRACE AND MERCIES in JESUS CHRIST our LORD and Savior.
